1-1 Online Tuition
This service is designed be tailored to your own needs. An online coaching session can range from a portfolio review to editing instruction on your own images, or any other piece of personalised instruction you would like.
As the positive feedback loop of social media erodes people’s ability to both give and receive honest feedback, opportunities for an objective professional to help you with constructive criticism are growing ever more important. With this being said, I strive to balance both positive and negative feedback, as I believe it is just as important to understand what you are doing well, not just what needs improvement.
These are available to anyone as long as you speak English, have an email address and stable internet. Sessions are operated via Google Meet and run for 1.5 hours. Our video call will be recorded and provided back to you, alongside any relevant PSD files for sessions tailored towards editing.
Once you have booked your session/s, I will be in touch as soon as possible to organise a time for us to meet. Please allow some time for a response in case I am in the field and am not reachable.
Should you feel like you’d like to clarify anything before booking your session, please don’t hesitate to contact me here.

Testimonials
"Ben is highly proficient at editing from both a technical and artistic point of view. He understands colour theory and the nuances of balance in an image in terms of composition, light, colour and contrast - the things that elevate an image from a holiday snap to an artwork. And he's super patient at teaching the skills required to achieve the results." - Kerry L
"I've been wanting to see how Benjamin processes images for a while. I decided to see if he could edit a shot I had been struggling with … I was ready to delete this image but after watching his editing process it's easily my favourite image I've taken this year. It's always good to see a master at work, I learned some great new skills which I will be applying to my future edits." - Evan A

Ben gave me a detailed account of how he would have tackled this series of images and other ideas I can apply to my workflow. "Ben, I want to say thank you for taking the time to show me how I can establish a really solid base workflow for my forest scenes. As we all know forest scenes can be extremely chaotic. Your methods for creating atmosphere and good separation will definitely be a part of my workflow on future edits." - Matt N

"It was great to see how Ben took my image and transformed it into his own style using his knowledge. It gave me some very useful information on how he uses Photoshop differently to me ... This was a very informative and knowledgeable service, I would highly recommend" - Sam M
"I am super happy with the image that Ben has edited for me! This has helped me to learn how I can improve the way I edit my photos and what steps and techniques can be used to enhance different parts of an image. Finally, he was able to draw out so much of my image that I could not have envisioned myself! I definitely would recommend Ben to edit one of your images as it was 100% worth it!" - Will S
